美國聯邦政府啟動一個叫做Test to Treat（檢測到治療）的計劃。在此計劃中，人們可以在 Test to Treat 站點接受新冠病毒檢測，而如果檢測結果呈陽性並且符合治療條件，就可以當場取得輝瑞或默克新冠藥物。人們也可以將從家庭測試套件獲得的測試結果帶到 Test to Treat 站點，然後經過醫療人員評估後，取得藥物。
你可以點擊英文網站Get medication for COVID-19，或簡體中文網站获取 COVID-19 药物，輸入郵遞區號，就可找到附近的Test to Treat 站點。
請注意，輝瑞和默克新冠藥物都是有禁忌的，所以你必須告訴Test to Treat 站點的醫療人員你是否有在服用什麼藥物，以及你是否懷孕，等等。也請注意，這些醫療人員是“具有開處方的認證”（Prescriber），但不見得就是醫生，所以有可能會做出錯誤判斷。您最好是先看看我發表的文章，確定您是適合服用輝瑞或默克新冠藥物：

7/12隨機快篩確診Covid，居家隔離中… 雖然本身毫無症狀，NHS GP開立了Paxlovid療程 (送到住處，同時做PCR，不知道是護理師還是藥劑師)，按醫囑服藥休息中 (偷閒讀書ing…) 可能我沒有正在服用任何藥物與補充劑，年初的常規健康檢查也壯如牛，醫師開立Rx時絲毫不猶豫。我猜測做PCR是流行病學上要確認病毒株吧？！
有關藥物/補充劑的交互作用，有研究(PMID: 27149131)在探討口服維他命誘發的皮膚炎症問題…有趣！

😊🇬🇧NHS目前對居家隔離非強制，而是建議。但公司政策是有帶薪隔離假（防止第二次感染給用事），就待在家裡不外出去製造傳播鏈😄 英國這一波似乎都是BA4、BA5
我自身比較詫異的反倒是完全無症狀這件事，連常見的喉嚨乾癢不易吞食的感覺都沒有，體力精神都很好。也許💉💉💉給了我一定程度的抵抗能力。本來我是這辦公室裡唯一還沒確診過的成員，確診後就100%都罹患過了。上週去看了我最愛的Rugby球賽，雖然我有戴口罩，但周遭沒有一人配戴口罩，也沒有安全距離可言。揣測是當時傳播的吧？！
但這幾天的經歷，有點佩服NHS的效率(資源的協調與調度做得出奇地好)，然後公司政策也是每人每週建議頻繁快篩1～2次，反正也免費的。
Paxlovid療程也沒有什麼特別感覺，就像是在服用普拿疼。

Sorry to hear the bad news, Elliot. Fortunately you seemed to be ‘symptom free.’ How many rapid tests have you performed? Did you do it at least twice to make sure it’s not a false positive? The guideline of CDC is 1) perform the first test, 2) wait for 24 hrs (no longer than 36 hrs) 3) repeat one more test. Of course, if you can have a PCR test done, then it’s much more accurate than the home test kits.
But recently I have learned a new term — virus rebound (or viral rebound). Since you have lots time ‘resting’ at home, you might want to check out this video:

FYI, I self-tested twice (kits from different manufacturers) accordingly and just got my PCR via phone call (+ 4 LFT kits by post) back this evening. Altho they didn’t tell me the exact variant of virus. I started to show very mild symptoms: just a bit tired (or drowsy?!) but nothing major. I was aware of the virus evolving to resist Paxlovid (an interview somewhere by Dr Paul Offit, another respectful physician). Just like you mentioned, I was like Paxlovid🤨🤔?? However it seems it’s ‘until now’ NHS go-to treatment. Guess my GP ordered the drug based on the current NHS guidelines. I’d love to watch the entire vid (food for thought). Thanks once again. Btw, I still can’t find why my response (a bit longform) to your message can’t go through the system (tried several times).

No, I don’t think the usual PCR test will do gene sequencing which is a much more elaborated and costly procedure. Here is a good explanation of qRT-PCR test:

Oh yup… Dr Offit can be quite unconventional sometimes but he’s very close to my heart. I take his opinions seriously! Watched the vid. Now I’m wondering if NHS do the whole gene sequencing thing 🤨🪤
